PFG is committed to the discovery and development of new and emerging CTA talent. PFG‘s Managed Funds Division identifies and establishes long term relationships with select CTAs to expand its managed funds marketing programs. Part of that process is the CTA Challenge, which is a trading competition for emerging CTAs. The winner each quarter, based on the best risk-adjusted performance, becomes eligible to trade a PFG account in the amount of $250,000. The CTA winning the CHAMPIONSHIP SHOWDOWN will be allowed to trade a PFG account of $1,000,000!

Ken was the winner of the 3rd quarter of the Challenge
Mr. Kinkopf is an associated person and principal of Kinkopf Capital Management LLC. Mr. Kinkopf is responsible for all trading decisions and the general management of the firm. Ken Kinkopf uses a systematic technical analysis approach that incorporates fundamental data that is programmatically analyzed and then statistically evaluated to produce a trading system that is robust with the ability to react to system changes over time.
John Tolan has won the 4th quarter 2007 CTA Challenge
John Tolan, the developer of the Trendchannel Trading System, has been trading the futures markets since he graduated with a B.S. in Agricultural Economics from the University of Illinois in 1976. Tolan has been a broker at the Chicago Board of Trade (nine years) and Merrill Lynch (seven years), and a marketing representative of CQG trading software (five years). Tolan has been a registered CTA and principal of Trendchannel since January 1999. Trendchannel has been included in the Futures Truth "Top 10 Trading Systems" since 2001. Trendchannel's success has earned Tolan a well-respected position among trading system developers.
